Louis C. Cavallaro; Print Shop Owner

Louis C. Cavallaro, owner of Flash Printing Service in Reseda, has died in a Northridge hospital. He was 61.
The Reseda resident died Tuesday of a heart attack, said his wife, Jane Cavallaro.
Born May 30, 1929, in Waltham, Mass., Cavallaro came to California as a child and graduated from Bell High School. During the 1960s and 1970s, he owned two used-car lots in the San Fernando Valley called J Motors. In 1976, he opened Flash Printing Service, which he ran until his death. Cavallaro was also active in the Community Organization of Reseda, a group of business owners who recently formed to oppose a Reseda revitalization effort.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years; son Louis Cavallaro Jr. of Reseda; daughters Tina Cavallaro and Sandy Cavallaro of Reseda; mother Vincenta Batte of Reseda; brother Charles Cavallaro of Massachusetts; and sisters Lena DiScuillo and Marie Farley of Reseda.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Lorenzen Mortuary, 19300 Sherman Way, which is handling the arrangements. Contributions can be made in Cavallaro’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
