Longtime Secretary Retires from Rowland

Betty Beal, a Rowland Elementary secretary and former classified employee of the year, has retired after 30 years with the Rowland Unified School District. As the staff bulletin put it, “she trained seven principals.”

Said Beal: “After I get rid of the stress lines, I’ll be back to substitute. I’m still interested in the people in Rowland and plan to keep in touch.”
