A severed left forearm found near a rural highway appears to have come from a man, a deputy coroner said Monday.
But that’s about all authorities know, and unless they can find more evidence of a body or information about the forearm, it’s unlikely they will be able to trace the limb to anyone, they said.
Fifty deputies from the Sheriff’s Department’s search and rescue team and its Lemon Grove station combed the Barrett School Road area 4 miles east of California 94 on Sunday, but found nothing new.
