The Avionics Laboratory of the Wright Research and Development Center has awarded a $2.9-million contract to SofTech Inc. for work on enhancing the Weapon Systems Interaction Modeling prototype.

Weapon Systems Interaction Modeling provides detailed electronic simulations of combat engagements between different weapon systems, providing accurate data for evaluating them.

The prototype will directly support the Advanced Development Electronic Warfare programs of Wright Patterson’s Electronic Combat Simulation Research Laboratory and will establish core analytical capabilities for the Air Force’s electronic combat test process.
