Dramatic Rescue
On Dec. 23 (Metro/Valley), photographer Ross A. Benson, covering a story by Amy Louise Kazmin of a father threatening to jump off a third-floor balcony with a 4-month-old baby, obtained one of the most remarkable photos I have ever seen in my 30-odd-year span in the art world.
His feat was a recording of an act of bravery by Burbank firefighter Ron Pearlman and the police officers who assisted him in rescuing the baby. We can be very proud of the able police officers and firemen. Hosannas!
