Smothers Brothers Top Bill at Benefit

The Smothers Brothers and American soprano Carol Neblett will entertain next Friday at a black-tie, onstage party benefitting the Los Angeles Music Center Opera at the Pavilion.

Neblett and the Smothers Brothers will perform separately and together at the event. In addition, the event will feature dining an dancing amid opera sets, props and costumes from the company’s first five seasons. There will also be a brief auction of “items only the opera can offer,” according to a spokeswoman for the event.
