Fielding Questions: Sally Field says she knows her new film, “Not Without My Daughter,” could rekindle some strong feelings against Iran. “Is it possible to come out of this movie without some anti-Iranian sentiment? I’d have to say no,” she told Associated Press. “And I wish this sentiment did not include your next-door neighbor who happens to be of Iranian descent. I wish it didn’t include them, but I know that it does.” Field stars in the film as Betty Mahmoody, an American whose Iranian husband refuses to let her leave Iran with their daughter.
