Raytheon Co.: The Lexington, Mass., company’s fourth-quarter profit totaled $143.6 million, up 5% from a year earlier. Sales rose 9% to $2.5 billion. For all of 1990, profit rose 5% to $557.3 million on sales of $9.3 billion, also up 5%. The defense electronics firm credited the results in part to the success of its Patriot air defense missile program.
