Amoco Corp.: The oil company reported fourth-quarter earnings of $538 million, a 69% leap from the year-ago period, as the Persian Gulf crisis sent prices soaring. The Chicago firm’s revenue rose 35% to $9.19 billion. Profit for all of 1990 was up 19% to $1.9 billion, and revenue was up 18% to $31.59 billion.
