Reaction to Mideast War
I am horrified at the lack of sensitivity shown in your front-page article concerning the casualties of war (Jan. 15). It’s bad enough to have our loved ones facing an enemy in a foreign land, but you have the gall to make sure all the worried wives and mothers know how our soldiers will die! “One out of every five seriously injured will die within several hours and half of those will bleed to death.” Really, between you and Conrad I wonder whose side you are on. You are doing your best to destroy the morale on the home front.
