SOUTHLAND : 6-Car Freeway Crash Spills Wine
From Times Wire Services
A big-rig truck jackknifed in a six-car collision on the Foothill Freeway in Sunland this morning, blocking traffic and spilling more than 75 cases of wine, authorities said.
The 8:37 a.m. crash closed all but one of the eastbound lanes west of Wheatland Avenue, Coats said. The rear axle of the truck was ripped off in the crash and diesel fuel also leaked onto the freeway, he said.
