NCR Files Antitrust Suit Against AT&T;: NCR Corp. filed an antitrust lawsuit against American Telephone & Telegraph Co., alleging that a takeover by AT&T; would reduce competition in the market for commercial UNIX computer systems, which link computers with computer software. According to the suit, AT&T; holds 24% of that market, while NCR has 7% but expects its market share to increase to 40% by 1995 because of recent innovations. Last month, AT&T; launched a hostile $6.1-billion takeover bid for Dayton, Ohio-based NCR.
