A case involving an assault charge against sprinter Ben Johnson in Toronto was put off until Feb. 18. He was charged with assault last month in connection with an incident involving Cheryl Thibedeau, who claimed that a man grabbed her by the throat. She said she suffered a swollen neck, was treated for whiplash and had an asthma attack.
