Geary’s top 10 wedding gifts for 1991 reflect “a return to romance and tradition, elegance not extravagance,” says Geary’s president Bruce Meyer. The list, in no particular order, includes:

* Crystal art--by noted manufacturers like Baccarat, Lalique, Orrefors or Correia, to add to a couple’s collection or to help them begin one.

* Wedding coach--get them from the church on time by hiring a classic automobile or a horse-drawn carriage for the bride and groom.

* Decorative clocks--fashioned from traditional glass or crystal, or from contemporary chrome.

* Picture frames--ornate antique frames to contemporary engravable ones in crystal or sterling silver.

* Personalized wedding keepsakes--hand-painted porcelain boxes or commemorative wedding plates personalized with name and wedding date; personalized notes and stationary.

* California sparkle--a case of California champagne or sparkling water, complete with an icer to keep an individual bottle cool.

* Bed and breakfast getaway--arrange a weekend trip for the couple to a quaint bed and breakfast several months after their wedding.
