FT. WORTH, Tex. —
A jury has convicted a man of murder for giving a 5-year-old boy a lethal dose of bourbon.
Prosecutors alleged that Anthony Darron Jimerson gave Thomas (Tinky) Griffin four ounces of straight bourbon at a party Feb. 23 and told him to “drink it like a man.”
The child died five days later.
The jury Thursday convicted Jimerson, 22, of Forest Hill, Tex., after deliberating seven hours.
