COLLEGE BASKETBALL WOMEN’S ROUNDUP : USC, UCLA Beat Oregon Schools
The USC women’s basketball team won its seventh consecutive Pacific 10 home game, defeating Oregon, 80-71, Friday night at Lyon Center.
Molly Keenan and Tammy Story each scored 17 points to lead the Trojans (10-6, 4-2), who play host to Oregon State Sunday at 1 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m.
UCLA 66, Oregon State 55--Natalie Williams scored 20 points and had 13 rebounds to lead the Bruins (9-7, 4-2) over the Beavers in a Pac-10 game at the John Wooden Center.
Cal State Long Beach 71, Pacific 69--Dana Wilkerson scored 21 points and Kellie Bennett had 18 to lead the 24th-ranked 49ers (9-7, 4-3) at Long Beach. The Tigers failed to score in the final 1:42 after getting within a point.
