Tucker Fights for State Title at Forum
Former International Boxing Federation heavyweight champion Tony Tucker will fight California state heavyweight champion Lionel Washington Monday night at the Forum.
The once-beaten Tucker is fighting for only the fifth time since suffering his lone defeat, a unanimous 12-round decision to Mike Tyson on Aug. 1, 1987. He is 38-1.
Washington won the state title with a technical knockout of Levi Billups in February of 1989. He is 11-7.
