Retailer Charged With Removing Clothing Labels

The Federal Trade Commission charged Richard B. Pallack Inc., a Sherman Oaks clothing retailer, with violating the Wool Products Labeling Act and the FTC Act by removing labels from men’s clothing that indicated where the clothes were processed or manufactured. The company, which is wholly owned by Richard Pallack, did not admit to the charges but agreed not to violate the acts in the future, the FTC said.
