Drug Problems Should Work Both Ways
Hey, you know how media commentators frequently focus on an athlete who has experienced substance-abuse problems--alcohol included?
How about if every time the camera pans the Dodger broadcast booth, another announcer can speak in hushed tones about how Don Drysdale overcame his substance-abuse problem after spending time in a rehab center and is back on the job?
Perhaps an athlete, whose public is constantly reminded of his past problem, could, while being interviewed by Drysdale, ask the Dodger announcer how his recovery is coming.
