The best way for the NFL to have honored the American servicemen and women stationed in the Middle East would have been to reschedule the time of the game so the military personnel could watch it in their prime time instead of ours.
Self-sacrifice could have been practiced by the NFL and television in accepting reduced advertising fees from the sponsors. Instead, the service personnel had to watch the game in the middle of the night.
