Schlumberger Ltd.: Fourth-quarter net income was $149.6 million, a 26% increase over the 1989 period. Revenue for the quarter was $1.47 billion, a 22% rise. Annual net income was $570.2 million, up 29%. The 1989 profit of $441.5 million included $13 million from the sale of its defense businesses and a gain of $21.5 million from an award by the Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal. Revenue for the year was $5.31 billion, up 13% over 1989. The New York-based company, which provides services and equipment to oil producers, said new technology helped boost revenue.
