Much Work Left in Diamond Bar
There is still a lot of work to be done in making Diamond Bar a full-fledged city, responsive to community needs.
Some of the issues that will determine Diamond Bar’s future development include traffic, maintaining a sense of country, signs, hillside ordinances, a Diamond Bar Community Center, expansion of city boundaries, an environmental “say-so” over neighboring industrial zones, expanded parks, youth and senior programs, transportation, continued quality education for our children, and protecting our homes and families.
As a planning commissioner and city founder, I have tried to bring these and other issues to the forefront for public debate and discussion.
There is a lot going on, and Diamond Bar deserves a government with the consent of its citizens.
I invite interested citizens to call me at home--(714) 861-0161--and let’s talk about the issues and your involvement, if you want.
We all want a better Diamond Bar, and the only way that we are going to get it is through communitywide involvement.
CLAIR WILLIAM HARMONY
Vice Chairman
Diamond Bar Planning Commission
