Richard Irvine has been appointed vice president, marketing, for Walt Disney Attractions West Coast. Irvine, who is returning to the Walt Disney Co. after 16 years, was most recently executive vice president of International Game Technology, responsible for worldwide sales and marketing. In 1978, he co-founded Aurora Productions, an independent feature film and television production company. Irvine has also been president and chief operating officer of Straight Arrow Publishing, which owns Rolling Stone magazine. Earlier, he was Disneyland’s director of marketing and president of Walt Disney Educational Media Co.
