Harley-Davidson Contract OKd: Workers for the motorcycle maker voted to accept a contract guaranteeing a 14% raise over three years. The contract for the 1,460 members of the International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers raises the average base pay to $13 an hour. Unionized workers went on strike Feb. 4, demanding that the Milwaukee-based company compensate them for employee givebacks during the 1980s, when Harley, the only U.S. motorcycle manufacturer, was struggling with bankruptcy. Employees are expected to return to work today, a union official said.
