2 Arrested in Armed Fast-Food Robberies
Two men were arrested Monday evening following armed robberies at fast-food restaurants in Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Tuesday.
Dominic Loring Aldridge, 22, of Los Angeles and Louis Lovell Debose, 35, of Pasadena were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and were being held in lieu of $10,000 bail, Lt. Arvie Sherman said.
They were pulled over by sheriff’s deputies who saw a car matching the description of the getaway vehicle driving east on the Ventura Freeway in Woodland Hills. About $8,000 and a small-caliber handgun were recovered from the car, deputies said.
About $7,800 was taken at gunpoint from the Burger King restaurant on Roadside Drive in Agoura Hills about 7:30 p.m., Detective Ivan Mills said. Deputies said the cash had accumulated over the three-day weekend and was to be deposited Tuesday.
Minutes before the Burger King robbery, a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Thousand Oaks was robbed of $300, Sherman said.
