The Calgary Flames kept the pressure on the Kings with a 3-2 overtime victory over Montreal at Calgary Monday night.

Ric Nattress’ fourth goal of the season at 1:10 of overtime gave the Flames their fourth victory in a row, moving them to within two points of the Smythe Division-leading Kings.

Joel Otto and Al MacInnis set up Nattress, who took a shot from the blue line that beat Patrick Roy on the glove side. MacInnis and Otto had the other goals for Calgary.

The Canadiens, who got an outstanding performance from Roy, came from behind twice with goals by Denis Savard and Stephane Richer.

New York Rangers 6, Philadelphia 2--John Ogrodnick scored twice and added an assist as the Rangers opened a nine-point lead over the second-place Flyers with their victory at New York.

The loss was especially crucial to the Flyers, who were 3-0-3 in their previous six games, but opened a six-game road trip in New York.

Already missing key players Mark Howe, Tim Kerr and Jiri Latal, the Flyers played without leading scorer Rick Tocchet, who stayed home with a sore groin muscle and is questionable for Thursday’s game in Calgary.
