The Wave Aids AIDS: FM radio station KTWV, known as the Wave, will present $275,000 to the American Foundation for AIDS Research at an event tonight at the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey. The money was raised through the sales of a compilation of recordings regularly heard on the station during KTWV’s fourth annual “Wave Aid” fund raiser. Organizers say the total raised thus far is close to $1 million.
