Strapped Air Europe Grounds Flights: Thousands of travelers were stranded when Air Europe, Britain’s second-largest airline, suspended flights and applied for court protection from creditors. Air Europe, which flies between Britain and about 50 destinations in Europe, said its fleet of 30 aircraft was grounded until further notice. Other airlines are helping passengers get to their destinations, Air Europe said.
