Allied Victory in Mideast War

The article in The Times (Feb. 28) regarding payment for the war should be easy to solve. Just have all those who were so strongly in favor of violence instead of sanctions pay the bill. Those who took up the vulgar cry of “kick butt” or “kick ass” should be honored to pay for their deed.

Or how about having Germany, who supposedly provided all of the dangerous chemicals people were afraid of, repay the countries who sent their young men and women to be killed. Figure out how much each life is worth--easy?
