U.S. Moves to Shore Up Stocks of Chemical Suits

WASHINGTON —
The Pentagon has ordered 550,000 new chemical protective suits to help build up its stockpiles depleted by the Persian Gulf War.
The $53.5-million contract went to Propper International of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the Defense Department announced this week.
