Two teen-agers were injured in a gang-related stabbing at an Oxnard park Friday night, police said.

Manuel Gonzales, 18, of Oxnard and a Port Hueneme friend, 15, were listed in fair condition at St. John’s Regional Medical Center Saturday, a spokeswoman said. Gonzales was stabbed once in the chest and once in the lower abdomen, said Oxnard Police Sgt. Frank Devorick. The other victim, who was not identified because of his age, was stabbed once in the lower abdomen.

About 10:30 p.m. Friday, Gonzales and his friend were confronted in Wilson Park at Palm Drive and C Street by three men who asked the teen-agers about their gang membership. When the victims replied, the men stabbed the two teen-agers, Devorick said.
