Times Fairs Offer Help to Buyers, Sellers

Share

With the real estate market in a slump but mortgage interest rates at their lowest level in years, it’s a confusing time for both home buyers and sellers. But help is on the way.

The Los Angeles Times will sponsor its second annual Home Buyers and Sellers Fairs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County and May 4 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The fairs have been expanded this year to include workshops for both home sellers and small real estate investors. And, like last year when nearly 10,000 consumers attended the fairs, a full range of panels for home buyers is planned.

More than 50 exhibitors--many of the Southland’s largest home builders, realtors and mortgage lenders, as well as state and federal agencies--will be on hand to answer your questions on all aspects of home buying, selling, financing and taxes.

A host of consumer-oriented panel discussions will feature real estate industry experts, including Times columnists, providing up-to-the-minute guidance for today’s housing market. Look for more details in coming weeks in the Sunday Real Estate Section.
