IRVINE : UCI Social Ecology Position Is Filled

Barbara Davidson, a former director of arts, lectures and student communications at UC Irvine, has been named director of development in the UCI Program in Social Ecology.

In her new position, Davidson will develop private support for research and teaching activities in social ecology, which includes the fields of environmental design and analysis, psychology and social behavior, and criminology, law and society.

Davidson recently was named to the board of directors of the UCI Alumni Assn. and chairs the campus’s 25th-anniversary committee.

In her new job, she replaces Martha Dennis, who was appointed the school’s President’s Management Fellow in the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.

Davidson, a Dana Point resident, is an alumna of UCI.
