Lenny Dykstra of the Philadelphia Phillies will testify in federal court this week in Jackson, Miss., in a case involving Herbert Kelson, who is accused of running illegal poker games, and who also picked up $50,000 worth of markers for the center fielder.
The (Jackson, Miss.) Clarion Ledger reported Sunday that Dykstra paid checks of $21,000 and $29,000 to Kelson, who faces trial on charges of running weekly poker games in late 1989 and early 1990.
