Stanford Opens With Houston in NIT
Stanford was among 32 teams chosen Sunday to make up the field for the 54th annual National Invitation Tournament.
Stanford will be at home for its first game, against Houston.
The other first-round pairings are Tulsa at Oklahoma; Fairleigh Dickinson at Siena; Alabama-Birmingham at Memphis State; James Madison at Providence; Ball State at Cincinnati; Fordham at South Florida; Furman at West Virginia; La Salle at Massachusetts; Southern Illinois at Boise State; Coppin State at Southwest Missouri State; Rice at Arkansas State; Bowling Green at Wisconsin; Butler at Wyoming; George Washington at South Carolina and Michigan at Colorado.
