Yen Traders Acquitted on Most Counts: A jury cleared 12 yen futures traders of nearly all charges that they cheated customers at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. A federal judge declared a mistrial on the remaining counts. The jury cleared two of the 12 traders on all charges but failed to reach verdicts on about 80 counts facing the other 10. Assistant U.S. Atty. Dan Gillogly would not say whether the government would refile the charges.
