READY TO BOARD: Measurements of airline performance (above) are subject to change. Just ask Peter Ueberroth of Laguna Beach and Tom Talbot of Newport Beach, the majority owners of financially ailing Hawaiian Airlines. . . . The latest Transportation Department report says the carrier suffered less than one complaint per 100,000 passengers in January, ranking it 10th best in the country. A year ago, the figure was four complaints--the nation’s fifth worst.
