Los Angeles : Stop Signs to Be Installed
Los Angeles City Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky has announced the completion of a 1989 safety project to install four-way stop signs at 876 intersections near 429 city schools.
The program involved a study by the city Department of Transportation of more than 1,000 intersections at 826 schools.
The cost of the program, $637,250, was paid by the city.
