“Jake and the Fatman” (CBS) is once again back in Los Angeles and with a creative vengeance. The episodes since its return have been nothing less than brilliant. The show, William Conrad, Joe Penny and all the people associated with it have long been overlooked for recognition. I hope this will be their year.
