Disney Holds Annual Meeting: Walt Disney Co. told shareholders at the Anaheim meeting that the recent drop in travel has hurt attendance at its theme parks and will result in reduced earnings in the short term. Disney officials blamed the Gulf War and the recession for a “negative effect” on current earnings. When pressed to be more specific on park attendance, Disney Chairman Michael D. Eisner said: “It’s crummy.”
