Driver Dies When His Van Hits Parked Car
A man was killed early Wednesday when his car crashed into a parked car in Granada Hills, police said.
The identity of the 35-year-old driver was withheld because his family had not yet been notified, police said. The man was alone in the car. No one else was injured.
Investigators had not yet determined why the man’s 1991 Dodge Caravan struck a parked 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air. The Dodge was headed west on Rinaldi Street east of Louise Avenue at about 2:30 a.m., Police Sgt. Joe Cross said.
The man was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
