The war is over. Apparently enough arms have now been destroyed that the White House thinks it is warranted to start a new government agency to underwrite sales of new batches to other countries! If war is the ultimate madness, then surely basing our industrial prosperity on manufacturing and exporting more weapons of destruction must be the ultimate obscenity. The world needs food, clothing, shelter, medical care and more than anything, understanding among nations. It is a shame to use and abuse our human and natural resources to make and prepare for war.
