Patents Granted: Davin Computer Corp. in Irvine said it has been granted four patents by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office covering technologies employed in a computer under development.
The company, which has been developing a mid-range computer known as a minicomputer, said it will try to license some of its technology for use by other computer manufacturers.
The patents cover technologies like the company’s approach to parallel processing, the simultaneous processing of data using a number of separate processing units.
