The “A’s Bandit” struck again Monday, taking less than $1,000 in cash from Flagship Federal Savings office in University City, police reported. This was the 18th robbery attributed to the youthful robber.

The bandit entered the bank in the 4085 Governor Drive about 10:10 a.m. and handed the teller a demand note that read: “I’ve got a gun. Give me all your money,” police spokesman Bill Robinson said.

The robber, described as white with a youthful appearance and being between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot, weighing 150 to 165 pounds and with a thin build, did not wear his trademark baseball cap this time. He did however, fit the description of the “A’s Bandit” with redish-brown hair, Robinson said.

Police said the man wore a white-hooded sweat shirt and light-colored denim pants.
