French Computer Maker Expects Big Loss: Compagnie des Machines Bull said its net loss for 1990 could top $1 billion, underlining the grim state of Europe’s computer industry. An industry source said Bull’s net loss for 1990 would be close to $1.22 billion. The company lost $46.5 million in 1989.
