Susan V. Cashion, chairwoman of the dance division at Stanford University, has been named a UC Irvine Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecturer in Fine Arts for the spring semester. Cashion will teach master classes and seminars in dance during an April 10-13 residency and will give a free public lecture on “Dance as Religious Experience: Mexico, Cuba, Brazil” April 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the UCI Fine Arts Concert Hall.
