SAN CLEMENTE : Staff Gets Go-Ahead for Asbestos Project
The City Council has cleared the way for the removal of asbestos from an incinerator in the municipal water treatment plant, but the city will conduct a final round of tests to determine whether the work is really needed.
By a unanimous vote, the council Wednesday authorized the city staff to hire a contractor to remove the asbestos and a consultant to oversee the project.
