How in the world could the revelation that Sugar Ray Leonard used cocaine six years ago overshadow the news that the Kings had won their first division championship? Saturday’s coverage of the Kings’ triumph was embarrassingly underplayed in favor of the 859th disgusting public expose of a former professional athlete who has ruined his/her life with drugs.
The Times obviously still treats the Kings like paupers.
