The NFL will name Harold Henderson, 48, a vice president and attorney for Amtrak, as executive vice president for labor relations this week, according to the Washington Post. Henderson, one of two executive vice presidents in league management, will become the highest ranking black executive in the history of the NFL. The paper said that Henderson, a Washington, D.C. native will fill a newly created position and will serve as the chairman of the management council’s executive committee, replacing Jack Donlan.
