End of Recession Predicted: Seventy percent of the nation’s top economists believe that the U.S. economy will pull out of the recession during the current quarter, according to a survey. “Seven of 10 of (the 51 economists) responding now say the recession will be over by April, May or June--with nearly equal votes for each of those three months,” wrote Robert G. Eggert, editor of Blue Chip Economic Indicators, the Sedona, Ariz., newsletter that conducted the survey.
